Romania’s Defence Ministry to use DMR handsets from Hytera Mobilfunk

Hytera Mobilfunk together with its partner Mobilis have won a tender from the Romanian Defence Ministry and signed a framework agreement to deliver up to 8050 PD565 DMR handheld radios to be used at various military support points in Romania within the next three years.

"This is a fabulous shared success. We have worked together with Mobilis for many years and we will continue to build this relationship," said Marco Martinato, VP of sales for Eastern Europe at Hytera Mobilfunk. "So we are delighted that we were able to convince the Defence Ministry of the quality and great reliability of our Hytera devices. We see great potential for the market in Romania and we want to continue growing."

According to Hytera Mobilfunk, the PD565 has a compact design and is convenient to operate. It supports conventional DMR mode and can also be operated in analogue mode.
