Speaking of the decision, a spokesperson for co-organisers Mark Allen Exhibitions said: "The BAPCO Annual Conference & Exhibition is a key event in the public safety technology calendar. We are therefore incredibly disappointed that we will not be able to run the show in-person, in March. It has been a particularly challenging year for the emergency services, and we recognise the demand for vital support, guidance, and connections the show would normally provide."
The spokesperson continued: "To help bridge the gap until we can once again meet face to face, we are delighted to announce the launch of BAPCO: The Online Event. We look forward to sharing full details of how visitors can get involved shortly.
"As organisers, our ongoing priority remains the health, safety, and wellbeing of all our exhibitors, visitors, contractors, and staff. We believe that the new dates in October will enable us to deliver the best possible event experience for everyone involved. Thank you for your continued patience, and support through this unique time."
