The first of these - Mission Critical Services (MCX) ETSI Plugtests: Results and Future Plans - is scheduled for this Thursday, May 14. As previously reported, this will review the four MCX plugtests which have taken place so far, while also previewing the next one, which is due to take place later this year.
The second webinar takes place on June 10, and is an overview of Mission Critical Services – Testing as a Service (MCS-TaaSting). This project focusses on conformance testing, with the aim of allowing the industry to prove the 3GPP standards-compliance of their implementations.
June 24 will see TETRA to 2035 and Beyond, which will provide an overview of the continuing enhancement of the TETRA standard. The webinar will focus on the continuing strength of the technology, the work of ETSI’s TC-TCCE, and the importance of TCCA’s IOP process as the foundation of TETRA’s success.
The fourth online event - which takes place on July 2 – is called Moving Certification Forward for Mission Critical Products. This will be a joint presentation looking at critical broadband, with TCCA and the Global Certification Forum discussing the work of their interoperability testing and certification taskforce. Registration will open in early June.
Discussing the forthcoming webinars, TCCA chief executive Tony Gray said: “There is so much tireless effort being put into our industry to the benefit of all society, and now more than ever it is important that the largely ‘behind the scenes’ work is recognised and promoted. These projects are all underpinned by the cooperation of many individuals and organisations united in the goal of enhancing critical communications.”
