According to a statement, Motorola established its first office in Warsaw in 1993, and now also has an office in Krakow. It employs around 2,600 people in what the company calls “one of [our] largest innovation hubs globally for radio, video security, analytics, cybersecurity and control room solutions for customers worldwide.”
Discussing Motorola’s presence in Poland, US ambassador to the country, Mark F Brzezinski, said: "The partnership between Poland and the United States continues to be very close, especially in areas like energy, defence, cybersecurity, and communications. I am honoured to celebrate Motorola Solutions’ 30th anniversary in Poland today.”
Country manager at Motorola Solutions Poland, Jacek Drabik, said: “Our operations in Poland are thriving due to our highly skilled engineering and software talent. With more than 1,600 research and development staff, and over 160 granted patents, our team plays an important role in developing innovative hardware and software.”
Drabik continued: “Our culture of ideation and invention is driven by the diversity of our people, who represent more than 40 nationalities and have expertise spanning R&D, supply chain, shared services and customer support.”
