Motorola Solutions joins CCWeek as Brand Leader sponsor

Critical Communications Week has announced Motorola Solutions as one of its 'Brand Leader' sponsors at this year's virtual event.

According to a statement, Motorola Solutions will use CCWeek to unveil its "full eco-system of mission-critical communication solutions." This will include future-leading radio technology, command center software, video and analytics solutions, as well as managed and support services.

Speaking of this concept, Tunde Williams, director of marketing EMEA at Motorola, said: “In public safety, getting the right information at precisely the right time is critical. But today, the technology used by agencies to share information faces big challenges, from scaling data and siloed software, to failure-prone systems and short-lived investments."

He continued: “With that in mind, Motorola Solutions has created the first and only mission-critical ecosystem designed specifically for public safety. The ecosystem unifies radio and broadband communications, integrates software solutions end-to-end, intelligently captures and analyses video, and keeps technology performing and evolving.

"It is a single platform where communications, software, video and services operate seamlessly together. It reveals insights to drive meaningful change.”

The company will also be participating in a variety of sessions across CCWeek’s conference programme. These include senior vice president of technology, Paul Steinberg, delivering a keynote address on 'embracing technology for a safer world', while senior director of devices, Katja Millard, will discuss the gap between emerging technologies and how public safety organisations actually work.

Industry relations director, Tim Clark, meanwhile, will join TCCA in a plenary session covering MCX deployment options and how to make sense of them. David Chater-Lea, will discuss the evolution of TETRA and how to safeguard it going into the future, while Angelene Koid and Josie Teh will talk about the testing and certification of next generation TETRA products.

Critical Communications Week is a free event taking place on 2-6 November this year. Launched by TCCA, it combines an unrivalled conference programme with a unique virtual exhibition through which visitors are able to network with some of the biggest and most important technology manufacturers in the world.
