The Czech Republic’s National Agency for Communication and Information Technology (NAKIT) has announced its membership of the TCCA.
The primary work of the organisation consists of mapping the information and communication infrastructure of Czech public institutions, while also scoping potential future need. It was founded in 2015 by the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.
Speaking of the move, recently-appointed director of NAKIT Alan Ilczyszyn said: “NAKIT is in a unique position in terms of creating and operating ICT systems to protect Czech citizens and infrastructure. We are pleased to become a TCCA Member and look forward to learning from our fellow members and sharing our expertise in critical communications.”
TCCA chair of the board Mladen Vratonjić said: “With its complete view of the needs of a nation in terms of critical ICT, NAKIT will bring extremely valuable knowledge and perspective to the work of TCCA. We look forward to working with NAKIT and extend a warm welcome on behalf of all TCCA members around the world."
