Speaking of the development, a spokesperson for Hytera said: “Berhhard will continue to lead the association of the German PMR industry for the next two years. He will actively contribute to the development of professional mobile radio and set the direction for the future, as a competent authority for politics, ministries and associations.”
Klinger said: “I am grateful for the renewed trust of the member companies and the board members, and look forward to continuing our work together. The main focus for the PMeV is crucial issues, such as use of broadband for critical infrastructures, the securing of frequencies for narrowband applications, as well as technical progress and accompanying changes in the PMR market.”
According to a statement released by Hytera, the company has been continuously active on the PMeV board since it was founded in 1999.
