The device in question was the SC21, which Sepura calls one of its “most popular models of small hand-portable smart radio across the globe.”
The occasion was marked by Sepura CEO Steve Barber, who presented a commemorative trophy of the SC21 to company partner Jomtel. This took place at Critical Communications Word, which took place in Dubai in May.
He said: “We are extremely proud to deliver our three millionth TETRA radio. This reinforces our position as a world leader in the supply of TETRA solutions to public safety and commercial organisations.
“We are delighted to deliver this [trophy] to our long-standing partner Jomtel, who are a valued part of the Sepura team and invaluable to implementing our TETRA solutions in Mexico.”
He continued: “We are seeing increasing demand for TETRA technology and will continue to invest in our TETRA solutions, as well as the latest broadband technologies to support customer migration strategies.”
