Discussing the company, a spokesperson for Tait said: “[m-View] has a proven portfolio of video solutions, including body-worn cameras, in-car video technology, and a digital evidence management platform with customers across Australia. The technology will expand and strengthen Tait’s critical communications ecosystem.”
The spokesperson continued: "The company’s body worn cameras are used in markets from enterprise to public safety. m-View’s in-car communication solution includes cameras and broadband connectivity with satellite technology integration. The evidence management system ingests video feeds from any device.
“Based on open standards, the solution will eventually be integrated into Tait Communications’ full portfolio for public safety, utility, transportation, energy, and other [critical sectors].”
Tait CEO and MD, Yoram Benit, said: “m-View has a proven video solution that is complementary to Tait Communications’ existing critical communications product portfolio. The integrated platform will benefit our global customer base, sales and channel partners, and strategic technology partnerships.”
The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
