Zetron, has appointed Brent Dippie as president and CEO to replace Ellen O’Hara, who will move to the position of chairman of the board of Zetron and board member of EFJohnson.
Dippie has been the COO and senior VP of Zetron for the past ten years. He has served the company in various roles of increasing responsibility since 1989. His qualifications include a degree in Finance from Washington State University and later obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) title.
Zetron’s global activity has seen the company integrate its systems with TETRA manufacturers including Airbus Defence and Space. Zetron and its Acom EVO system were certified as a Rohill application partner in January 2014. Zetron’s integrated solutions combine IP-based dispatch, NG9-1-1 call-taking, voice logging, IP fire station alerting, CAD, mapping, video surveillance and automatic vehicle location (AVL) systems. These can be expanded, made interoperable and are able to support remote and geo-diverse operations.
Zetron has offices in the US, UK and Australia. It also has a global network of resellers, system integrators and distributors. This has resulted in the installation of more than 25,000 console positions worldwide. Zetron is a wholly owned subsidiary of JVCKenwood Corporation.
