Software developer joins TCCA

Druid Software has become the latest organisation to join TCCA.

Established in 2000 and based in Ireland, the company is described by TCCA as “one of the world’s leaders in private 5G and 4G cellular technology.”

Its Raemis platform is a 3GPP-compliant core network, supporting “2G, 3G, 4G, 5G as well as integration with WiFi,” using devices from any vendor to "implement standalone core network solutions." According to a statement, the platform "also integrates with mobile network operators using standard interfaces.”

The statement continued: “This means that public safety users can take advantage of more than one radio network at a time, improving the coverage footprint and building in resilience to single operator failures. It also enables first responders to create instant emergency mobile networks, allowing citizens to resume mobile communications and call friends and family in affected areas.”

Raymond Valk of Druid’s CTO team said: “We’re excited to formally join TCCA after attending and exhibiting at their events for a number of years. Their principle of open and competitive markets worldwide, as well as their promotion of interoperability, aligns perfectly with Druid’s values.”

TCCA CEO Kevin Graham said: “We are delighted to welcome Druid Software to our global member community and look forward to the significant experience and expertise they can contribute across our mission-critical industries.”
