The announcement came at the end of the first day of this year's BAPCO Annual Conference and Exhibition, which took place this week at the Ricoh Arena, and included major updates on both the Emergency Services Network and the US nation wide public safety LTE project FirstNet.
Speaking of the plans for next year, BAPCO President John Anthony MBE said: “I am delighted with the news. We are constantly improving our events and seeking to provide new opportunities for our members. This new agreement with TCCA does just that in taking two already-great events and making them even better.”
TCCA chairman Mladen Vratonjic said: “This is great news for both TCCA and BAPCO. We welcome the opportunity to bring a wider European community to the already successful BAPCO show, and together organise a European critical communications event in a year when our major annual event - Critical Communications World - is in Asia. We will work hard to the benefit of all our members to ensure they receive even more value from this combined event."
The BAPCO Annual Conference and Exhibition is the annual event for professionals working in the field of public safety technology. Critical Communications Europe is part of an annual series of events hosted by TCCA across the world, including Critical Communications World and Critical Communications Middle East and North Africa (CCMENA).
A spokesperson for events organiser MA Exhibitions said: "Bringing together the BAPCO and TCCA events creates an unrivalled opportunity for all those involved in the sector to come together in the UK to, network, learn and discuss everything to do with critical communications and public safety solutions."
