Eastcom, Sepura’s collaborative partner in China – specialising in the design, development and manufacture of TETRA systems and equipment – has opened a new service centre in Hangzhou, China.
The service centre will offer local assistance to public safety customers and users of Sepura products. It aims to reduce the turnaround time for customers’ repairs and reduce the cost of carriage. Services include technically competent repair and maintenance in accordance with Sepura's warranties and quality standards.
Eastcom is the developer of eTRA, a digital communication system that supports both TETRA and the police digital hybrid network.
Sepura has worked with the company since signing a memorandum of understanding in 2012, under which they agreed to share their respective skills, insights and market experience relating to the manufacture, distribution and service of TETRA radio products.
