Virtual driving in Coventry

Virtual driving simulation specialist Virdrive will be demonstrating its solutions at BAPCO 2025.

According to the company, it will show how its solutions can “improve training efficiency” by offering “customisable scenarios tailored to the specific needs of emergency responders.” This in turn, says the company, enhances safety and reduces cost.

Discussing the company’s presence at BAPCO 2025, a spokesperson said: “Attendees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand how Virdrive’s solutions are transforming training and operational readiness for emergency service drivers.

“Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Northumberland, [our] state-of-the-art simulators are designed to meet the unique demands of emergency service organisations. By replicating high-stakes scenarios in a controlled setting, Virdrive empowers drivers to develop critical skills without the risks associated with on-road training.”

Viridrive director, Sean Wainwright, said: “Emergency services require precision, speed, and safety when responding to critical incidents. Our technology ensures that drivers are fully prepared for real-world challenges while reducing operational risks and costs.”

The BAPCO Annual Conference & Exhibition is taking place this week at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
